My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaiju was found outside our fences and staff set a trap for him in December 2021.
Over time and with volunteers working with him, Kaiju is not as shy as he was in the beginning and enjoys getting pets now! He is a quiet boy that can usually be found napping on the shelves outside the laundry room in the main adoption building. He has blossomed into a sweet, handsome cat. He doesn't come right up to you but if you approach him and let him know you want to pet him, he warms right up!!!
He has been fully vetted and with the right human, he could come out of his shell even more. Many kitties start out shy and afraid but with patience and love they can turn into wonderful pets!

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats.The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
