Let's Find Sophie Her Forever Home!

Sopie has spent over a whopping 700 days in the shelter, and we're determined to find her the perfect forever family before she reaches her TWO-year anniversary!

This Queensland Heeler Mix, approximately 4 years old and weighing in at 43 pounds, is a bundle of pure love waiting to be unleashed.

Sophie adores affection and craves attention like nobody's business. With a wagging tail and an eager heart, she's always ready for some pets and cuddles. Plus, she's highly food motivated, making training sessions a breeze!

When it's playtime, She shines brightest! She loves frolicking around, especially with male dogs her size or larger. And guess what? She's also proven to be a gentle soul around a respectful 3-year-old child.

Step 2: FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
Fill out an application at wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com and
call to schedule an appointment 530-895-8888

Step 3: APPROVAL, PAYMENT, & PICKUP
Your new family member can be picked up if you're approved and the animal is spayed or neutered. Payment of the adoption fee is required to reserve the pet. Adoption fees vary for each dog, puppy, cat and kitten.

More about this rescue

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all breed, NO KILL, animal rescue organization, incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer driven group with a number years experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and rehome, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals in Willows and Chico, California.

We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable.
