Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Robin of the Robin Hood litter! Weighing in at around 15 pounds lbs this adorable little boy is about 11 weeks old. Robin has a gorgeous total black sheen with smooth short haired coat and precious sparkling brown eyes. His mother was an Aussie but the father is unknown. His mother was killed when he was 2 weeks old and he was bottle fed.
Robin has lots of energy and needs a home who teach him and keep him mentally and physically exercised! He has a beautiful puppy spirit and would be perfect for any family. He loves to give kisses and snuggle.
He enjoys small toys that squeak, balls and bones.
? Robin loves other dogs, has been with his four litter mates and foster friends since he was 7 weeks old. He would love to have a fur sibling to play with. He loves to play and run. He is use to sharing food, water and toys.
? He sleeps well in crate/play area overnight (from about 10pm-6am)
? He rides nicely in the car, but can get car sick.
? His energy level, temperament and intelligence typical of a herding breed dog (likes to work, play and be involved) requires grooming and regular brushing.
? He is food and toy motivated. Robin doesn’t take treats politely. Robin still puppy bites when playing but is easily corrected. He responds very well to positive reinforcement.
? He UTD on vaccines. He has been in a home the past few weeks with a dog savvy cat. As is typical with a puppy, he likes to chase the cat.
? Has been introduced to puppy pads (and is doing really well with his potty training) and leash walking. Adopter must utilize positive reinforcement training techniques only (no aversive tools or techniques) a basic puppy class would be suitable.
If you think Robin would be a good fit for your family, please fill out an application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application
There will be a $50 neuter deposit that will be refunded upon proof of neuter. All adoption fees are used to help rescue other pups. Robin is being fostered in Jackson, Oh.
