My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky is a sweet, loving and playful 6-year-old Lab/Dane mix who is losing his home. Rocky was adopted as a puppy and has always lived happily with this family, which includes young children. The family is giving him up because the father recently tried to take a bone away from Rocky and he got bit. This was a couple of weeks ago and, although they love him, the wife is now "afraid" of Rocky. Ready for Rescue is helping find a new home for him. We think he would do best in an experienced home without young children in the event he has developed some resource guarding. He's been a great dog and now needs a second chance with a new, loving and committed family.
