Hello there, I'm Oden! Alright, this is it! This is the day. This is the day you've been waiting for. And this is the day I've been waiting for, too. This is the day we find each other. I am so excited!
You've looked high and low for the right match. You want beauty? Just look at my eye liner. You want friendly? Oh boy, I meet dogs and humans in a friendly way. Hoping for a happy dog? I explore my surroundings curiously, and have a confident personality. Want an intelligent dog? I sit on a dime and am treat-motivated. All I need is to find my family so they can teach me all they want me to know and do.
Here's a little more about me: I'm affectionate and well-balanced. I can be independent when I need to be but I promise to also be ready at the drop of a hat for an adventure together. I am very playful. I love toys, fetch, playing with you, playing with dogs, playing is so fun! If you glance at my pictures you'll notice they couldn't find one where I'm not smiling. I'm just a happy boy!
I am helpful to other dogs here at Desert Haven in that I know how to "dog" quite well. Right now I'm rooming with a adolescent puppy who needs to gain confidence. The volunteers here at Desert Haven thought I was the perfect candidate to help him. Isn't that neat? I was chosen because they think I'm a good model dog. I've also roomed with a dog that needs a very patient roommate and I was chosen for that role as well. Sure she was a little over-the-top but I didn't mind and I was tolerant and patient with her.
