Hi there! My name is Bowie and I am quite a catch! Sit down with a beverage and get comfy because here comes the fabulous list of qualities I have that are sure to knock your socks off.
I think we should kick off this list with my all-time favorite pastime which is playing fetch. Not to brag, but I am a Fetch expert. I chase down the tennis ball that you throw and I bring it right back to you and drop it at your feet. I love Fetch so much. Those that don't want to play fetch with me need not apply. Fetch is life and it makes me happy.
Actually, I could probably play fetch until your arm falls off! Well, I don't want that to literally happen because then you would only have one arm to pet me. And I like to lean into you while you pet me. Ahhh a good rubdown feels so very good. But I digress. So, since I enjoy being petted and snuggled, let's keep both your arms in tact. Thusly, I will play fetch with you until we decide to stop and then I'll probably want to take a snooze.
Speaking of siestas, I love naps and I'm super good at them because I am Deaf. I don't hear anything so I sleep like a baby. I'm most certainly the dog getting the best night's sleep here at Desert Haven since I am Deaf. I also have one brown eye and one blue eye which I think is very striking. One eye sees and the other doesn't, but that doesn't affect me one bit. I see well and can prove it with another one of my favorite pastimes: Bug Hunting. I like to watch for and search for bugs. Mind you, I don't eat them or wallop them when I find one, I just like the hunt that's all. Needless to say, I'm pretty good at keeping myself busy in a yard that's for sure.
And now we get to the point in the write-up where you stop reading and quickly get on the horn to inquire about meeting me. I don't think there is a cooler dog than me, again, not to brag. So let's meet soon and you can show me your tennis-ball-tossing-skills. Love, Bowie
