My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

10 underrated facts (that get progressively more unhinged) about Galileo who is looking for an adopter or foster!

1- He has the best floppy ears; I will not be taking any counter points on this.
2- He is a retired mathematician specializing in circles. Nowadays he enjoys straight lines and gentle curves.
3- He gets poop zoomies. I think we all should spend more time enjoying that after poop bliss and appreciate it like Galileo does.
4- He has the best name… (Galileo) Galileo, Galileo Figaro, magnificoooooo. This is another point I will not take counter points on, you have zero argument. Don’t tell me you didn’t start singing. And dont try to lie- he has ways of getting the truth.
5- You know what’s better than a tiny tripping hazard? A GIANT tripping hazard! Obviously 🙄
And you better say “excuse me” and “sorry” to him manners are very important to him.
6- Before his career in maths he was a secret spy. How do I know? Because who else at least once a day acts like totally normal everyday events are an attempt to kill them? Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr maybe it’s just that he’s going blind. The jury may be out on that one, but feel free to call him 00-Scratch My Belly! (If you didn’t read that in a British accent you are wrong, I’m sorry)
7- He only poops once a day! He says in his professional mathematic opinion (from the devision of girl math) that means he’s MAKING you money on how few poop bags you will need!
8- He’s VERY quiet. Probably as a result of his past escapades… 👀👀
9- He can get any food, off any surface. He’s even been known to get things off the top of the fridge. It’s in debate of whether ninja might be in his professional portfolio as well (maybe we should check his LinkedIn) … what can I say a jack of all trades is better than a master of one. Although between you and me I think his vacation at his foster/trainer's house has dwindled his desire to practice the long-standing canine ninja tradition of “counter surfing.” (What a mystical name! Sounds fancy! Probably good for your Charkhas or something, specifically the stomach one…)
10- YOU can fill out an app to foster or adopt him at Homeward Bound Waggin, Inc! If you can’t foster or adopt YOU could donate to his and the training of other dogs at the shelter through their page as well!
Ok the last fact was about you, but Galileo says 10 facts is enough, as a mathematical genius he likes the number 10. But he would not like it if he’s stuck in the system for another 3 years and has to celebrate his 10th birthday with us losers (he means it in the most British-y nice, but condescending way possible. Yes, he is British, what else would he be? I guess that makes 10 facts about him and 1 about you).

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Waggin is an all volunteer animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated to be euthanized in our rural area and then find no kill rescues in other parts of the country that can take them. We also make them available for adoption in a broader geographical area.
