My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Johnny and Chad are two lovely, gentle, sweet boy cats. They aren't brothers, but they came from the same part of Brooklyn, look very much alike, and adore each other.  Johnny looks after Chad and calls him to dinner when he doesn't come right away! They are quiet, easygoing guys; they're a little shy but with patience they'll warm up to you. We think these boys would be happiest in a calm household.

Johnny and Chad are neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, have their shots and are microchipped. They're ready to take the next step to a loving home!

If you'd like to arrange a playdate, please submit an application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate Belinda as the rescuer. Contact Belinda with questions, at belinda@brooklynanimalaction.org.

Thank you for your interest in rescued kitties! All adoption fees and donations go to rescuing more sweeties like these.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.

Go meet their pets

Please email us at adopt@brooklynanimalaction.org or contact the e-mail in the individual listing if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued animals. We hold Saturday adoption events at Unleashed by Petco in Park Slope and Petsmart on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn (check our website and Facebook page for more information) and have cats at Bushy Tails pet store in Bushwick and Petsmart.
