Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ivy is a petite one year old Lionhead rabbit looking for a special home. When she arrived at the main WHRS foster home her teeth were severely maloccluded and overgrown, yet she was still finding a way to eat her pellets. WHRS took her to the vet to have her incisors removed. Everything was great for a while, until her lower incisors grew back! Off to the vet she went again. Her lower incisors were removed and a radiograph showed it appeared that both teeth were entirely extracted, including the roots. Ivy is able to eat her hay and pellets just fine now. However, she needs her veggies cut up into small pieces so she can eat them.
Ivy has a lot of personality. She may run away from you at first, but she'll melt in your arms once you start petting her. Since she's still a young bun she has a lot of energy. She will need a lot of time to hop around and explore outside her enclosure. She has been spayed and vaccinated against RHDV. Due to her small size, she would do best in a home without young children.
Adopters will receive a free copy of The House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit and a free one year membership to WHRS. Go to rabbit.org and learn all about having a house rabbit. Then contact WHRS!
