Her favorite adventures involve fetch, running, water, wrestling, and walks where she is more than happy to lead the way. Boba is smart, her curiosity often leading her to learn new tricks and commands quickly. She has already learned sit, come, no, down, and shake. She is the ultimate social butterfly who gets along with dogs, cats, and children. With all, she is easygoing, friendly, playful, jumpy, and respectful. She also has a gentle, sweet demeanor that makes her a perfect companion. Boba is very protective of her home, a trait that showcases her loyalty and love. She does get nervous around uniforms, but with patience and understanding, she can overcome this fear. She`s housetrained and loves cuddling, her affectionate and lovable personality melting hearts wherever she goes. Boba is a bit needy, but that`s because she loves to be loved. Pet Adoption Fees
CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.

CAP is proud to announce that through life-saving adoption and transfer programs and a lot of hard work, we have maintained a placement rate of over 93% for all homeless pets surrendered to our shelter in 2021. In 2021, CAP provided care for 10,260 animals; this includes animals surrendered by the public and transferred in from animal control agencies and rescue groups, animals already in the shelter and foster care program, feral cats trapped/neutered/returned and animals receiving vaccinations and other treatments in our low-cost vaccination clinic, The Cornelius Clinic.
