Meet Bobby! He arrived to Northwest Indiana from our rescue partners in Texas.
Bobby is a happy and carefree boy. He loves to run around and play with the other dogs at his foster home.
He rides well in a car.
He is crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate.
He has a hearty appetite
He was initially fostered with a family that has a 3 and 7yr old. He is currently in a home with a 3 year old and does well.
He does jump (something adopter will need to work on)
Basics: He is a neutered malw estimated to be about 1 years old and weighs 12 lbs.
Adoption Process:

- One of our team members will get back to you via phone.
- Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
About Us:
Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
