HISTORY:
Bugsy and Cynthia became best friends at animal control, and that facility had intended on adopting the two out as a bonded pair. However, somehow there was a mix-up at animal control, and Bugsy was adopted out with a different black cat. Though Bugsy is a super friendly guy, he is a bit shy at first, and his first instinct was to find a cozy hiding place in his new environment once he was taken home. He ended up finding a hole in the wall of his new adoptive home and was missing for 2 months! He was then returned to the animal control facility and reunited with his pal, Cynthia, who had become depressed and lonely since he left. She instantly cozied up to her bestie once again! Now that they are in our care, we are committed to making sure they are never separated again.

ABOUT:
Bugsy must be adopted with his best friend, Cynthia.

Bugsy has so much love to give! Once he gets to know you and gets used to your routine, he’ll greet you at the door and happily meow at your arrival. In fact, he can be very chatty at times, but mostly when he wants your attention. If you sit down, expect him to put his little paws on your legs, asking for permission to hop up into your lap. Once there, he’ll purr loudly in contentment while enjoying being showered with lots of pets. He’s a kind-hearted, good-natured boy who will make an excellent companion for someone looking for a sweet, cuddly feline.

While Bugsy enjoys the company of his people, he’s not overly needy, so if you work long hours, that’s okay. He and Cynthia are almost always found snuggling up together, so they will never be lonely so long as they have each other. They don't ask for much - just some nice comfy cat beds (that will fit two cats) and a big sunny window! They would prefer a calm, laid back household that would match their personalities.
