Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cats Unknown - he can be tested for applicants
If anyone out there is looking for a:
- Cuddle buddy
- Goofy, silly, awkward dog
- Dog-friendly dog
- Dog who acts tough but is a secret softie
- Homebody-type-dog-that-doesn't-like-strangers-but-still-wants-to-go-on-walks-and-will-pass-by-strangers-without-a-reaction dog
Then Creek might just be your guy.
Creek has wiggled his way into the hearts of our volunteers.
Once you’re Creek’s best friend, prepare yourself for some laughs while you watch his awkward body chase toys, a good cuddle session where he paws at you if you stop, and an invitation to scratch his butt.
Creek’s ideal home will be with someone who is patient & understanding of his insecurity with strangers in his space. With a proper introduction, he warms up to new people in no time but he is not the type of dog that can step into a new situation and feel comfortable instantly.
His forever family will be okay with the idea of Creek not liking strangers but will be positive about the possibility that he can make new friends - he makes new human friends all of the time! But it should never be expected that Creek will love everybody right away. He will need guidance and reassurance from his person that it’s okay and that they will protect him forever.

We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.
Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $450 which covers the costs of vetting (spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming and microchip) and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.
