Joey is a happy-go-lucky boy. He's a young guy who is up for pretty much any adventure you'll present him with. He's confident, outgoing, and affectionate with everybody he meets whether you have two legs or four (actually, he hasn't been tested with cats yet but we can do that).

Joey loves to play with other dogs in our yard and shares toys nicely with others.

Volunteers have taken Joey for walks in the community. They report that he is happy to meet every dog and every person he sees. He needs a little bit of leash work because he is so excited about his new surroundings and just wants to smell everything! But because he isn't very strong or big, it was easy to manage and the volunteers still loved walking him.

Joey is well-behaved in his crate. He doesn't have accidents and is quiet for most of the day. The only time he barks is when he sees a dog friend passing by that he'd like to play with.
