Nina is a sweet girl who made her way to us after her owner passed away. When she first arrived, she understandably was confused and a little nervous. But by the next day, she had completely blossomed and wasn't afraid to show us her silly, outgoing personality.
When indoors in her crate, she is relatively quiet and settles nicely. She loves to be outside playing with a tennis ball and playing with her dog friend, Buster. They like to wrestle and play tug of war with a rope toy together. She shares toys nicely with him.
Nina loves to soak up attention from the volunteers and visitors. She gets excited to see her favorite people. She always greets you with a big smile on her face and is ready to give kisses.
Nina knows how to sit and give paw and is a food-motivated girl.
Nina spent a night at a volunteer's house where she met their two dogs. She instantly liked them and wanted to play. One of the dogs in the home didn't want to play with Nina anymore and let out a small growl toward her. Nina didn't react at all and was so respectful. After some play time, Nina was happy to chill on the couch for a show on Netflix. She had great house manners: no accidents and was non-destructive.
A message from Nina: I am an 8-year-old, 60 lb. female
My paperwork says I am a Lab mix
Dogs: I made a dog friend on my second day here. The introduction between us was so easy.
Cats: I haven't been tested with cats yet
