Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Available for adoption in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Laguna Beach or Huntington Beach.
Koda is a sweet, 4 year old labrador retriever who came to us from the Riverside Animal Shelter. He is shy at first and takes a few days to warm up to new people.
Once Koda feels comfortable with you, he's the most loving, goofiest, playful guy. He enjoys toys, is pretty good on a leash, and loves to cuddle on the couch.
Koda is housebroken, knows how to sit, shake, and come (when treats are involved). He LOVES his crate and seems to feel safest being in his crate.
Koda would do best in a home with people who are willing to be patient with him and give him time to come out of his shell. A backyard where he can run around and do his zoomies would be ideal, as would a family who is around most of the time since he is very much a velcro dog. He is good with other dogs as long as a proper introduction is done, but he can play a bit rough with other four-legged friends. We've included a video of him playing with his best friend (Layla, who he would LOVE to get adopted with if at all possible).
If you are interested in adopting Koda, please visit our website to fill out an application. Thank you!
