PLEASE scroll down and read the ENTIRE BIO. It is lengthy but has ALL INFO we know. Emailing and asking for more info is only going to hold up your process and risk your chances of the dog you want being gone. EMMA is in SALEM, Ohio. SHE is fully vetted including: spay/rabies/Bordetella/parvo distemper vaccine/worming/heartworm lyme test/heartworm-flea prevent while at the shelter. We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval.

You say you want a dog that is sweet, velco-like, loves other dogs, loves all humans, love kids, loves to take walks, love car rides, is crate trained, and has those human eyes that can see right into your soul??? Well, HERE I AM!!! I'm not one to brag, but I overheard my foster mom say that I rank among the top 5 fosters she has had, and she has had hundreds!!!! A bit about my previous life,,,,I spent the first years of my life chained to a garage, maybe my "owner" expected me to be a watchdog and scare bad people away?? Well, I fooled him because anyone that I came in contact with was my friend!! I somehow got myself off that chain and was fortunate that the local dog pound found me wandering. Someone came forward in an attempt to claim me but had no proof (vet records, pictures, license, etc) that I belonged to him. The girls at the pound held tight and I remained there until the humane society came and got me where I was placed into a foster home with 2 other dogs!! I was in HEAVEN!! Sadly, it was determined that I was suffering from heartworm (no thanks to that previous "owner") and so began my treatment. I am doing very well recovering, so well that it has been decided that I am now ready for my new home!! I would love a home with another dog(s) who likes to play a lot and then chill a lot! Kids?? We could have a ton of fun together!! I have acclimated soooo well to inside living and have found that human furniture can double as dog furniture! Although, I do love me a nice cozy dog bed as well. I am ~5 yrs old but play like a puppy as I have a ton of catching up to do from years chained up. If you are a family that isn't fond of a dog following you everywhere (even to the bathroom!), then you may want to bypass me because I like to know where you are every moment. I have shown absolutely no signs of aggression with anyone...and why should I?? Y'all can't help loving me and vice versa.
