Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fodor is the dictionary definition of resilient. He was named Fodor because he was thrown from a four door car. He was understandably very scared when he first entered a foster home but once he discovered he was safe and cared for, he let his fun, playful personality shine. He loves to play - strings and balls are his favorite toys. He also loves getting long massages humans (day or night - he'll climb on you while you're sleeping to "request" a massage) and playing with other cats. He also loves climbing on anything in the house. He was born in February of 2021.
Given his high energy level, he needs to be adopted into a home with another playful cat. You will also need to Fodor-proof your home as he won't hesitate to steal whatever food you are eating if he can get you to look the other way and that even extends to napkins. He will reward you for sharing your home and attention with him by showing you his wonderful, loud purr, not to mention a lot of laughs.
To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat either virtually or in person in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
