Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Akita/Shepherd mix roaming my neighborhood on 3/5/22 and happily came to me when I called him. He is an extremely happy boy who I believe was dumped due to his Akita energy and traits. I have posted him on numerous lost pet sites, had him checked for a microchip, and reported him to our local animal shelter.
I had him neutered, vetted, and heart-worm tested (negative) on 3/23. He sleeps in a kennel at night and is inside/outside during the day but doesn’t like to be outside alone, he can be very clingy, also an Akita trait. He has a natural prey instinct and likes to chase my cats but has not shown aggression towards them.
He loves to move all the toys/bones from the toy box to a bedroom one at a time, and has been known to steal other items like shoes, cellphones etc. 🤣
He wants so bad to be loved and have his own person, would do best with an active outdoor person to go on hikes and runs with to burn his energy, someone who knows the Akita, he truly is a very sweet boy.
