HISTORY: Wrangler is hadsome guy which came into rescue in March 2022. We believe he is about 16-week-old Australian Shephern dog/husky mix (best guess). He is currently 36 lbs but this puppy is definitely still growing.
Since this cute guy is still a puppy, he has quite a bit of learning (and gorwing) to do. He is a bit nervous around new things (busses, mirrors, etc). He's hoping his family will help him become more confident and self-assured by letting him slowly adjust to something new. He does enjoy the company of humans and would likely be good with kids.
Wrangler absolutely loves other dogs! He is good at adapting his play style for different dogs but may be too much for an older dog. Ultimately, his best play buddy would be another gung-ho player.
Wrangler would likely do well with daycare 1-2 times a week. He is currently a bit overexcited on walks when seeing other dogs but working with a trainer who doesn't use aversive methods, this can be nipped in the bud.
He is still on a "puppy schedule" as he is getting housetrained. This means frequent trips outside. He's doing that in his temporary foster home and hasn't had accidents inside.
Wrangler should live in a cat-free house. He is just too interested in them and expects them to play like his doggie friends do and he won't take no for answer. He would do best in a single family home or duplex or similar,. He is a bit vocal for an apartment setting at the moment.
