Reno is a big, handsome fellow. He likes to play with his toys, his kitty companions and his people. Born in February of 2021, Reno has matured into a special cat. He likes to be in the midst of the action and doesn't want to miss anything. Reno likes to get attention, on his own terms. He'll beg for petting and let you know when he has had enough. He really likes to play with interactive toys and will chase the wand for a long time and neverseems to get bored. Located in the Mission area, Cinderella Pet Rescue, as an all-volunteer organization, schedules appointments for people to meet the animals at the shelter or in a foster home. Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
