My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crispin was an owner surrender. He was initially adopted from the Lancaster shelter by a well meaning couple who soon realized that the did not have the time he needed, given that he is a young energetic Husky mix. He is super sweet and loves people, but doesn't know his size and can get a bit rambunctious and a little mouthy too in a playful way. He thinks he is still a puppy! He would do best with someone active and outdoorsy and would make a great jogging or hiking buddy. He is very affectionate and loves to be petted. He can melt anyone's heart with those beautiful eyes, could it be yours?
He weighs about 75 pounds and is 3 years old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his shots.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

If you have found a pet of your liking on our site and contacted us we will make sure to get back to you as soon as possible.
We require a potential adopter to fill out an application.
If the application is satisfactory we will contact you to set up a time to meet. We also do home checks to make sure that the house or apartment the pet will go to is safe. The pet will be brought to your home at the time of the home check and if everything looks good and goes well the pet will be left with you. We are asking for an adoption fee and we also will have you sign a contract.
We allow a two week trial period during which the money will be refunded if it turnes out to not be a match. After the two week period the adoption fee is not refundable.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to fight for the plight of all companion animals so that none of them will ever
have to experience the horrors of being imprisoned in a pound system, where most of them are executed for the “crime” of being unwanted and homeless.
Animals entering our sanctuary will be given exceptional loving care and all the necessary medical attention whether short term, until adopted or for their lifetimes.
The survival of the sanctuary depends entirely on the support and donations from supporters, members and volunteers.
Through your generous giving we will be able to save countless lives in the future.
