Here's what the humans have to say about me:
INDOOR HOMES ONLY
Paddy was rescued by a law enforcement officer who noticed her at night by a bush in a neighborhood filled with coyotes. She was dumped with a cardboard box, some water and carrots. Fortunately, she was an easy catch! I named her Paddy as the officer was driving her squad car otherwise known as a paddy wagon!
Paddy is the perfect, socialized, sweet, friendly bunny. She was around dogs, cats and kids at her foster home. Nothing much ruffles her feathers.
She will nuzzle her head under your neck. She is the perfect couch cuddler for movie night! She just wants you to love her and pay attention to her! She will stay put on your lap for long periods of time. She craves attention.
She’s calm, relaxed and loves to be petted. You’ll often find her stretched out or nudging your hand for attention!
She is curious, playful and easy to pick up. She gets super excited for treats!
Paddy should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.
Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.
Paddy can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.
PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
IF YOU ARE SEEKING A RABBIT AS A COMPANION FOR YOUR EXISTING RABBIT, YOUR RABBIT SHOULD BE SPAYED/NEUTERED!
Male/female bondings are usually recommended. See the following link for more information: https://rabbit.org/care/bonding/
