My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Penny was found in the parking lot of a motel in a rough neighborhood of Banning, right off a busy thoroughfare. A concerned motel employee contacted us after seeing too many cats killed in the traffic there. She had been kind enough to have fed the little cat, and for that reason was able to catch her and help us to get her captured. We thought she was feral, but as soon as we sat beside her as she waited in her trap for a vet visit, Penny began purring and kneading her blanket! It turns out that she loves to have her head and ears petted, and loves playing with strings and balls. She's very active--and fast! Penny is about 7 months old, has lovely "dilute calico" coloring of grays and peach, and is fully vaccinated and spayed. She's super-sweet and loves human company. She'd love to come home with you!
