Buddy is a great dog! He is ~9 years old (our vet said he may be a bit younger based on his teeth) and looks like a Jack Russell mix. He weighs about 19 pounds. He is fully vaccinated. His owner had to move into assisted living and wasn't able to bring Buddy with her.
Buddy is a very friendly, sweet dog. He likes people and he gets along well with dogs and cats (we have both). He's great on a leash and loves walks. He also loves to snuggle. He is a very affectionate dog. He is mellow when you want a mellow dog and energetic when you want a playful dog.
He is house and crate trained.
Overall, he's a great little dog!
We love Buddy a lot and would keep him ourselves (we agreed to foster him as friends of his original owner), but we have a wild 6-year-old son and the associated noise and fast movements stress Buddy out. He is better suited to a home without small children.
Buddy is diabetic and requires insulin, but he is used to shots and administration is simple and easy.
