My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well what could I say about Charlie...hmmm. He is a wonderful dog everything from curling up on the sofa for a movie or ready for a walk. He is really lovable and has no bad habits that I can think of, gets along great with everyone and has been a joy to have around. He would really like to be in a home where he wont spend too much time alone...he has been with me for 3 1/2 months with my 2 brits and 3 cats. I am just listing him on the website now due to his healing broken leg. He had a break back in October and was fixed up by a specialist. We have had him checked out recently and our vet said he will have a full recovery. You would not really notice that he is not at full speed. He's a compact guy at about 34 pounds, a real snuggler and easy to handle. He's smart, learns routines and generally pretty calm for a boy his age. He would be a great addition to any family. History:
He was hit by a bicycle on his rear left leg. The owner didn't want to pay to fix his leg, so the specialist had the owner surrender Charlie, fixed him up with fancy surgery and called ABR. He realized that Charlie was too nice a dog to put down, and he was right. I got him one week after the surgery.
