Daisy has a warm heart and is ready to brighten up your home with colour! Rescued from a multi-cat situation, this little petal has slowly blossomed in EHS care. Just like the first rays of sunshine on an autumn morning, Daisy may take a little while to warm up; you could say she's a late bloomer. With the cold, crispy air setting in she needs a cozy home to set down her roots. She has long been preparing to be repotted and all she needs now is a nice caring family to help her keep blooming!
Despite starting off reserved, much like a growing pod, Daisy has transformed into a radiant flower, eager to be admired. She has been working on her people skills, and getting more comfortable with human company. This girl is known for sniffing hands and curiously snooping around her foster home, observing from a distance everything that's happening. She is certainly a curious soul! Though she will initially shy away from direct contact, Daisy will allow pets from those she's familiar with. It takes patience and trust for her to open up, but she will reward you with gentle purrs of affection. However, some flowers can't be forced to bloom. Much like tending a garden, it will take some effort for her to fully open up in a new environment! Luckily, this bright bloom has an adorably expressive face, which makes it easy to gauge her comfort level!
Daisy is very sweet and gentle, enjoying the simple joys of life--whether it's exploring her environment or basking in a sunbeam. Tasty treats and playtime are the best ways to get on her good side. When it comes to playtime, Daisy is full of energy! She loves darting after wand toys and chasing the laser pointer, sliding across the floor in excitement, and trying to catch it under her fluffy paws. Her playful side comes out when the toys start moving, and she is soon rolling around on the floor to get attention. Any toy will do the trick! There is never a time when Daisy isn't curious, as she has been known to stare at her foster while they're blow-drying their hair, and she even sniffs people's feet (just making sure they're clean!). Reflecting the lifestyle of a flower, her other hobbies include people and bird watching from the window, gazing at her gorgeous self in the mirror, and sleeping in late on weekends.
One of Daisy's favourite pastimes is relaxing in quiet solitude or sharing peaceful moments with her feline friends. She enjoys the company of other cats and even the occasional nap with her foster's dog! She isn't a fan of loud environments and certainly doesn't want small children disturbing her peace, so a quiet home would suit her best. We should also note that Daisy has inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which is well-controlled by a lifelong, daily medication and special diet. This good girl happily takes her medicine in a pill pocket, just like a treat!
If you're ready to welcome this pretty posy into your home, look no further! Daisy has been waiting for the perfect family to establish her roots while outshining your garden in the process. If you have the nurturing touch to help her thrive, submit your adoption application and let Daisy light up your life. -------------------- The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175.
