Estimated birth date: 6/1/2015
Personality: Inquisitive, Friendly toward humans, Cuddly, Playful, Energetic, Mouthy (puts mouth on you but does not bite down, usually thinking your fingers are food)
Favorite treats: MEALWORMS. He also likes mandarin oranges and apples.
Favorite toys and activities: He loves running on his wheel and jumping all over his cage/climbing fleece ropes. He gets especially excited for meal time.
Potty trained: No
This animal’s daily routine: Mealtime is from 9-10 pm. Most active hours are around 11 pm and 6-7 am.
BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Yes, Dreidel is boned to Menorah, and must be adopted together.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Feline -- seen through cage only -- no reaction.
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? None
Health concerns: None
Behavioral concerns: Dreidel is currently in our trust training program. His foster is working on slowly being able to handle Dreidel since he has not been handled that much previously. Currently, he will climb into his hand of his own accord and seeks him out during playtime.
Other notes: He is still shy but will do well with continued bonding and positive reinforcement.
Dreidel & Menorah came to MNPPR after their previous owner felt they needed better care and more attention.
Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Menorah’s foster parent prefers to meet at the Maplewood Petsmart - 2370 White Bear Ave N, Maplewood, MN 55109 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
Fee: Dreidel & Menorah have a combined adoption fee of $275
