My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nemo –This handsome fellow, enjoying the fresh breeze on a Florida morning, name is Nemo! He is good-natured and welcomes petting and attention from all- including strangers. He also enjoys the company of the other cats in his house, and like most all kitties, he especially likes treat time!

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this gentle natured kitty? Then see for yourself what a charming kitty Nemo is, how he would make a loving addition to almost any home.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
