Hi! I'm Carson... who are you?
I was born on November 25th of 2009 so I'm a few days over 2 months old in my snow pictures. Mom says I'm going to be a big guy! I already am almost 25# and hear I'm healthy, up to date on my shots and worming, and am just growing like a weed. My dog mom was a white Great Pyrenees who was just over 100# and dad was a stocky brindle Mountain Cur at about 80# so I'm trying to grow up big like them.
Me, I'm an independent, playful, smart guy who's already learned to use the dog door,am crate trained, I play nice with the other dogs, I like kids though might be too much for very little ones, I like the cats, I'm a little TOO interested in the chickens but I hear we're "working" on that. I haven't been fixed yet because I'm too young but Mom can tell you more about that. I'm still working on the housebreaking but thanks to the dog door and other dogs who go outside I have very few accidents in the house. I'm learning new things all the time.
So far I like to play with about anything. I like to carry around sticks like my big brother the St Bernard. I like to play with him and my other sisters the Great Danes. I play BIG! I'm very brave and already know I'm a big dog. When I act too big the cat s put me in my place... they can be scary. I'm teething now but really do prefer to chew on sticks outside or toys or other dogs inside so I haven't gotten myself into trouble chewing up the wrong things.
Mom thinks I would love a family with time to walk me on the leash and play with me and maybe even another dog to play with. I really like the sounds of that. I'm able to stay in my crate while Mom works for about 5 or 6 hours already. I'm pretty mellow for a young guy and love to nap on you when I'm worn out while you watch tv or play games on the machine
I'm already showing my Pyr background and have a stubborn streak so I'll definately need a fenced yard. I like to investigate things and while I'm usually pretty good about following Mom and the dogs around sometimes I'm busy I don't always like to come back. With this in mind I will defintely need someone willing to set some rules and keep them up so I stay a good boy!
So Mom's been busy keeping me busy and happy. Well that and I think she may have her hands full with her dog , cats and some of the other giant rescue dogs who come through here too!
