My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scruffy was rescued from the Merced pound, where the kill rate is 83%. That was almost 10,000 animals killed in Merced last year alone. And that is just Merced. Scruffy is crate trained and loves to wrestle with other dogs. Doesn't matter how big or small they are. He also seems to really like kids. The youngest child Scruffy has been around so far is about 10 yrs old. Scruffy walks on leash, and rides pretty well in the car. He still is a little nervous about going for a ride. He is almost house trained, but still makes occassional mistakes and need correcting. He is a happy boy, although he is a work in progress.
