HISTORY: Andy was one of several puppies along with their mother rescued from an Abandoned House in Connell, WA in September 2020. He and his sister were quilled by a porcupine. Andy was found with a broken hind leg that could not be repaired and required amputation soon after he was rescued. He has adapted well to his 3 legs.
FOSTER UPDATE: Andy is shy but is gaining confidence daily. Due to his insecurities and lack of confidence, he would do best in a home with a confident, well-adjusted dog.
He needs to be with a dog-savvy person who is patient with him. At his ideal home, his person will work from home and have a securely fenced yard. He needs and will respond well to a positive training program.
He has excellent house manners. He chews on his toys and leaves the people shoes alone! He likes to sit on the couch and look out the window, quietly watching the squirrel who live outside. He is curious and happy to see other dogs when he's out walking.
Andy had a tough start but is ready for a forever home where he is loved and where all his love for you is appreciated—and he has lots to give!
DOG ADOPTION FEE INCULDES: All basic vaccines including rabies, flea/tick treatment, spay/neuter and microchip!
