My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meridia is a lovely blue-eyed, husky mix who is a loyal, calm, sweet girl. She is about 2-years-old and 65 pounds. Meridia is fully house trained and does very well in a home environment. She attaches strongly to the people she likes but takes some time to warm up to strangers, especially men. Meridia is currently working on her leash reactivity towards other dogs, but seems to do well with big dogs when off leash. However, she hasn't been tested at a dog park.

According to her current foster mom, Meridia is an ABSOLUTE love bug! She adores cuddles and belly rubs and is very content going on long walks or snuggling on the couch to watch movies. Once she gets to know you, she wants to go everywhere with you. She's a wonderful companion!

Meridia is in NEED of a FOREVER home! She is looking for a family who can continue to support her in her emotional growth and in building her confidence. Meridia's new home must have a 6' fenced in yard and not include toddlers or cats.

HISTORY: Meridia and her 4 four-month old puppies were rescued in early October 2021 in a corn field in Eastern Washington. They were all emaciated, had flea-bitten ears, and were in overall poor health. At Meridia's first vet visit, we discovered that she was pregnant again. She had a litter of 5 puppies on October 18th, 2021 in a loving Red Waggin' foster home.

DOG ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: All basic vaccines including rabies, flea/tick treatment, spay/neuter and microchip!
