Hi! My name is Gus. My caretakers at RCHS would describe me as being in the ORANGE category. Cats in the ORANGE category have the potential to be timid or nervous when first settling in. They would be best for adopters who previously had a cat and are willing to give a cat time and space to gain confidence. Usually, cats in this category take less time to become comfortable than those in the purple category.
Cats are assigned to color categories using any previous owner notes, general handling, as well as staff and volunteer observations. As we continue to get to know the cats and gather further insights into their personalities, colors may be adjusted accordingly.
If interested in adopting Gus, an adoption survey and instructions can be found on our website.
