Spot is looking for a loving home with a cat whisperer

Sweet Spot and his family were found at a local store crammed into one carrier and no one around (mom plus 5 x 7 week old kittens)! The store management called Cat Matchers to help, and we were able to bring them into our our foster system. Spot's siblings and mom were all adopted but sadly he hasn't found his forever home yet.
Spot is a bit on the shy side. He loves the cats and has become friends with the parrot in his foster home. He cowers when you try to pet him, as if he has been beaten. He is looking for a home where the humans will love him and have patience with him as he fully blossoms into his personality. He also needs another cat or furry friend with whom he can spend his time.
Spot will be shy at first. He does act like he has been hit and so he'll pull away when you reach down to pet him as if he's afraid you're going to hit him. it's very sad. He just takes time and then he's the sweetest cat ever
