My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sharkey was brought to us after his owner had to surrender him. He is great with people and children, completely house and kennel trained, loves to play with his toys, and is just happy to be with anyone he can be with. Sharkey gets along well with other dogs and is heartworm negative.

More about this shelter

Wynne Friends of Animals came into existence when it learned that the City of Wynne was euthanizing over 800 dogs per year. The city pound was just a dumping place with horrible conditions. Funds were raised and money borrowed to build a new animal shelter which is solely run by donations, grants, etc. Since the opening of this shelter, we have decreased the euthanasia rate by 75 percent. We do it to help God's creatures and for the love of the animals. Our website and our Facebook page have testimonials, additional information, our list of adoptable dogs and more.
