My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: August 2020

Meet Ziggy:

Zeroing in on Ziggy, saved with his three siblings Sweet Pea, Mr. Tibbs, Gandalf and their dad RumTum. Fond of chasing after springs and the laser’s red dot, and now letting us pet him for a bit especially if we have a treat, he may not enjoy being fully petted just yet, but he does enjoy “cat-laxing: lying with his front legs stretched out and hanging down! Now all this charmer needs is a loving home with one of his friends to show him how wonderful petting can be.

Go meet their pets

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

More about this rescue

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.
