My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Andromeda AKA Andi is ready for her Furever home! She's a BC/Setter Mix and is 2 and a half years old. She weighs approximately 58 lbs.
She was pulled from a Rural shelter by a local SPCA after having had puppies and in very poor shape .

Andi was adopted but didn't get along with their dog, so was returned and we rescued her.
She's crate trained and Loves people and should do well in a Active family with older children .
I've not been able to test her with younger children.

She's done well with my cats in house and even allows them in her crate without fuss but still reacts excitedly when they start running around or if she is eating and they walk close by and would chase them if outside.

While she did really well with my older female Boxer and really wants to play she can get over stimulated which could cause issues so an only dog home or with a very laid back older dog would be best.

She loves Toys but will shred and chew them so be prepared to have plenty of hefty chew toys and bones for her. She knows some basic commands but will need someone who will continue with some obedience work.

Andi has a fabulous personality and can be quite the talker. She will be an absolute joy for the right family. If you think you are that family please fill out our application:
