My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

girl who needs stability and calm

Beth is a survivor.  She came to Catsnap as a fearful kitten, one of only two survivors in a litter treated for distemper.  (Today, she is perfectly healthy.)  In order to feel safe, Beth learned to judge character and to pick and choose her people.  The people she has chosen at Catsnap are honored to be chosen!  She meows perkily to greet her people—only her favorites.

Beth is very intelligent, and while she likes to be queen, she gets along fine with other cats.  She will also play!  Beth enjoys wand toys and active play.  Her litter habits are perfect, and she enjoys perching where she can be admired.

We noticed early on that Beth did better socially with a large male cat in the front room.  Such cats have come and gone, but when Ivan came to us, we realized that this pair must stay together.  Ivan can play too rough with other cats, but never with Beth.  At our building, we had to keep him in a cage because of his tussling, and we noticed that Beth always came near to see him.  We have set up a foster arrangement for the two, and they do wonderfully together.  Beth and Ivan are a ready-made family for you.   They are smart, active young cats with lots of personality and antics to enjoy.  Would you consider adopting them?

Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!

If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.

We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.

Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.

All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
  • Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
  • Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)
  • Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
  • Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
  • Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
  • Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
