Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST-NEW ALBANY, INDIANA
We are looking for help to rehome our 6 year old Aussie, Jax. I have had Jax for 3 years now. He is a litter mate to an Aussie that we have had since she was a puppy. Jax was returned to the breeder when he was 3 years old due to being rambunctious with children and not staying in their in- ground fence. When I became pregnant, Jax started showing anxiety and does not do well with children. He needs a home with no small children.
Jax is neutered and UTD on all vaccines. He is potty and crate trained. He stays in our unfenced yard well if he is being supervised. He has been through 2 rounds of in-home training and has tried Prozac to try make things work for him to stay with us. We love him dearly and will only be sending him to the best home and we would love to be able to keep in touch to see how he is doing. We have reason to believe that he might have been abused in his first home so I would expect him to be timid at first especially with males. He does not like loud noises, power tools, or the sound of boxes being opened.
Jax would love a big fenced in yard to run and play in and a quiet household to keep his anxiety down. He is a big baby and loves to snuggle. He is very friendly with other dog’s, he just can be a little rambunctious when playing. He also does well with our cat (unless the cat runs from him). We want Jax to have the home and life he deserves even if it can't be with us.
We are asking for a small rehoming fee to insure that he goes to a safe home for him. We also have his crate that will come with him.
