Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST: We are seeking an adopter for Hildy and Buddy, a bonded pair, whose guardian passed away over the weekend after a brief but difficult battle with stage 4 cancer. Her last wish was to have her two dogs, Hildy and Buddy, stay together. The dogs are currently being held at Metro Animal Control. Both dogs will be 5 years old next February. The owner adopted them as puppies, they meant the world to her, and she coddled and spoiled them. Her passing happened rapidly before she had plans in place for the two dogs. Hickory Plaza Vet Clinic has provided vet care for the dogs since they were puppies. The vet describes them as sweethearts with gentle temperaments. Not barkers or whiney, but love being coddled and are very affectionate. Are easily handled and manipulated. Both are overweight. Both are very smart and have great manners with discipline. They have occasional ear issues and need anal glands expressed regularly. HILDY is a female black lab mix born on 2/7/2010. She weighs 71 lbs (but needs to lose 20 lbs). She has had ACL surgery on both legs and is perfectly fine now. She eats a prescription diet/joint food. BUDDY is a tan male lab mix born on 2/16/2010. He weighs 75 lbs (and needs to lose 20 lbs).November 4, 2024, 1:26 pm
