MEET SILAS!

A sturdy, hardy little hound dog, Silas is a Beagle with Warfield Red coloring and beautiful golden eyes. Calm, gentle, and sweet as they come, he greets everyone with an enthusiastic wagging tail.

Like all beagles, Silas follows his nose since he’s bred to hunt. That means he can get himself into sticky situations and should always be kept on leash in open areas. And he’ll need some exercise to burn off his energy. He shows signs that he likes all dogs and we think he may do well with children because of his gentle nature. Silas walks beautifully on a leash and beginning to learn basic commands.

This happy little fellow was dropped off out in the country, perhaps a failed hunting dog. But we think he’s a perfect 10 and succeeds in all important dog categories: sociable, brave, intelligent, watchful, sweet, gentle, and incredibly loving. Some lucky someone will be adopting just about the perfect dog.

Silas is a 34 pound neutered Beagle, about 1 year old, housetrained, fully vetted, and up to date on all vaccinations.
