So, have you ever met a guy and simply thought, “Wow”? Well prepare yourself for Toby. Not only is his appearance stunning, his personality and temperament are magnificent. We don’t know how or why this gentleman found himself in the city shelter but we can only imagine it was through no fault of his own! Toby, a gentle giant who has won the heart of every rescue person he’s met so far!

Toby may be the perfect big dog. He’s very calm, gentle, and well behaved. He has that easy going personality that's suited for any family He's a bashful boy at first but warms up rather quickly.

Toby clicks all the boxes: Does well with children…Check! Dog and cat friendly...Check! A good companion well suited for a family or single person…Check! Toby has wide appeal and will make someone such a very good friend indeed.

Toby is about 3 years old and weighs in at 73. Those golden chestnut color eyes match his Tony the Tiger orange brindle coat and that coal black nose…crush worthy! He’s been called an American Pit Bull Terrier but if you have any other ideas, give us a shout.

Toby is available for adoption and the fee is $200. Please submit an application as meet & greet is only scheduled once an application has been processed. Due to his size, we’d prefer Toby have some green space to hang out. He lives the outdoors and needs a little room to stretch his legs.
