My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max came into rescue with his brother and litter mate Bailey. Their human is no longer able to care of the boys due to his progressing Alzheimer's Disease. Max is mellow guy who loves walks. He is social and lap loving. He is great with all ages of kids, adults and other dogs. He loves to play with toys and be outside (remember is used to the warm Texas weather).

**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.

Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.

Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.

Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
