My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful mama arrived at Palm Valley Animal Shelter on Christmas Day last year....CHRISTMAS. DAY. In the month that she was there, somehow some way not one person showed interest in her, and the staff soon noticed that she was declining. She had lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, and trouble getting up and down on the hard concrete floor. She was put on the euthanasia list and was on her very last day when RFR saw a post about her and sprung her out.

After arriving at RFR, she IMMEDIATELY perked up, her symptoms stopped, and she was full of life! It seems that at the shelter she had just given up hope, but as soon as she felt safe and loved she came right back around to the happy, sweet, loving mama she is <3

She wakes up excited to see her people every morning, and you'll know it by the big derpy ding dong husky smile she has on her face when she sees you. She LOVES going on walks but is just as happy to sunbathe in the yard or nap on her cushy bed. She sometimes needs an intentional introduction to other dogs, just to ensure they're not jumping all over her or too in her face, but once she gets in a good butt sniff she gets much more comfortable and friendly. She has even been known to get goofy zoomy play in from time to time.
