My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kailani has been with the rescue for nearly a year waiting to be reunited with her human. We are currently seeking a foster home, and possibly a foster to adopt home for Kaylani in the future, but no promises. Kailani does not do well with other cats. We think this is because she was declawed when she was little and left to fend for herself outside. She is a moody little thing. One second Kailani is asking us for affection and cuddles, a few seconds later she's scowling, mean mugging and giving us a swat. She's basically two cats in one--What a bargain! Despite her attitude, scorn and disdain for any cat who dares to be nice to her, we can tell she's very lonely. While we doubt she'll ever be a "basic" nice kitty, we do believe she may be a different cat in the quiet, stress free, cat-free environment she needs and feels entitled to. As long as she can run the show and do as she wants, she'll tolerate you, forever. We were told Kailani was three years old. The vet said she's closer to eight, so it's possible Kailani lies about her age and we'd advise you not to trust a word she says. If you're ready to fall head over heels in love with a cute little diva, Kailani is the cat for you.
