My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaylani has been with the rescue for nearly a year waiting to be reunited with her human. We are currently seeking a foster home,with adoption a possibility in her future..
Kaylani is fearful of other cats and dogs and she's very vocal about it. We think this is because she was declawed when she was just a little thing and then left to fend for herself outside. (She's full grown and still a tiny cat. It appears that she knows she can't defend herself and so she puts on a big show to scare other cats away. She's grouchy, at times, but we think this is due to other cats within view. When we spend one on one time with her, she is sweet, playful and happy. She longs for human company and cries out to us for attention and cuddles.. We also adore her sassy personality. One minute Kaylani is asking us for affection and cuddles, the next minute she's may take a swat which we find pretty funny, She seems to know it doesn't hurt, We think she's just expressing her conflicted feelings . She adores her caretakers but she's very upset that she has to spend time confined to a kennel rather than having freedom to explore her environment. . Other then an occasional pat and grumpy face, Kailani is a gentle, lovable and social kitty who dreams of being an only pet.
