Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Oscar and I have just arrived from LA on January 26th, 2010! I am a Lhasa Apso x who is about 1-year-old and approximately 15 lbs. I am a very sweet boy and have a great personality. I can be very timid and easily startled, so I would likely do best in a home without small children. I'm also still getting used to the leash, and get really scared when you go to grab my neck and might let out a cry if you do it quickly without warning. But I'm not at all aggressive, I am very submissive so just need someone to be gentle with me. I am great at night time - I sleep all night if I am allowed to sleep in your room (I'm happy sleeping on a bed on the floor if you prefer). I am great with other dogs, and I really like my foster brother, Charlie (also a Lhasa cross) and I am also great with cats (I don't have much interest in them). I love to cuddle and I'll sneak into your lap first chance I get, once I get to know you of course. I will need a very patient family that is willing to work with me to help build trust, but once I get to know you I am a big snuggly guy with lots of love to give!
Please note that Little Mutts Rescue adoption fees are generally $400 for adults, and $450 for puppies. Includes spay / neuter, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchip, and a vet certificate of health (please note that if puppies are born in Calgary, we do not have a vet certificate to provide). If you are interested, please submit an adoption application - http://www.littlemuttsrescue.org/adopt/index.html
