Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beemer ended up at the shelter after her owner passed away. This Senior Girl had been sitting at the Town Of Oyster Bay Shelter for almost a year. We have been networking her nonstop but have not had anyone step up. We couldn't let her sit there any longer, so one of our roadies is able to hold her for a week so she can decompress. This is very temporary. We need a foster ASAP! She is a chill girl who gets along with most dogs and has lived with cats (meet and greet required). She has some anxiety, and the shelter has put her on some medication for it. Beemer is shy at first, so a home with no small children would be needed for her. She knows basic commands and is house trained. She is also in great health and loves to play with toys, especially Tennis Balls
