My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin is a 6 year old cat, who can provide lots of love. She is active, loves to play with laser toys, cat toys (we call them “mousies”), and in Amazon boxes. She loves to cuddle when people are sleeping, and likes to sit on your lap for pets, and being brushed. She also likes to sit on your laundry, especially towels, when they are freshly washed.

We adopted Pumpkin as a kitten from a friend with the intent of having a lifelong companion for our children. We know the value and importance of pets at home and were happy to have found her.

Pumpkin is declawed in the front only, and has been strictly an indoor cat. Her rear claws need trimmed from time to time.

She does have a bite record. She bit an adult owner after she was bathed.

Pumpkin does not do well in a home with small children. Time has not improved her behavior around them.

Pumpkin really needs a child free home without dogs for her well-being. She also needs someone who is well-experienced with cats.
